Straight answer: there is no legal 24 hour weed delivery in Newmarket. Ontario law limits licensed cannabis delivery hours, and Ashario delivers to Newmarket south of Green Lane from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week, with a flat $9.77 fee and most orders landing in 1 to 2 hours. Order by 8:00 PM for same-day arrival.

If you've searched "24 hour weed delivery Newmarket," you're probably after two things: the latest you can order, and how fast it shows up. We handle Newmarket deliveries out of Ashario Cannabis - Aurora at 15114 Yonge St, just south down the highway, so the drive to most Newmarket addresses is short. Below is exactly how the service runs, why round-the-clock delivery isn't legal here, and how to plan your order so nothing gets left behind.

Why isn't there true 24 hour weed delivery in Newmarket?

Legal cannabis delivery in Ontario cannot operate 24 hours a day. Licensed retailers must follow hours set under the Cannabis Licence Act and enforced by the AGCO, and every delivery requires an in-person handoff to a verified adult. Ashario's delivery window for Newmarket is 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily: the practical maximum a compliant retailer can offer.

Any service claiming genuine overnight or "always open" cannabis delivery in Newmarket is either operating outside the legal framework or exaggerating. Unlicensed sellers can't verify your age at the door, don't guarantee tested product, and carry real legal risk for you as the buyer. The AGCO regulates every licensed store in the province, and legal delivery always ends with an ID check.

Here's the retailer detail that matters for planning. Our delivery drivers accept orders up to 8:00 PM for same-day arrival. That two-hour buffer between the 8 PM cutoff and the 10 PM close exists so drivers can complete the route and still verify ID at each door. Miss 8 PM, and your order rolls to the next morning's 10 AM start.

How fast is same-day delivery to Newmarket?

Most Newmarket deliveries from Ashario arrive within 1 to 2 hours of the order being confirmed. The flat delivery fee is $9.77 with no minimum order, so a single pre-roll or a full basket both ship the same way. Delivery covers Newmarket south of Green Lane, plus surrounding parts of northern York Region.

Because your order is fulfilled from our Aurora store on Yonge Street, the distance is genuinely local, not a courier crossing the GTA. Our budtenders regularly hear the same question from Newmarket customers: "Will it come before 10?" The honest answer is that anything ordered comfortably before the 8 PM cutoff almost always does, but late-evening orders on busy Fridays can push toward the outer edge of that window.

The full Newmarket and northern York Region zone, along with everything the Aurora store covers, is listed on our same-day cannabis delivery in Aurora, Newmarket & northern York Region page. Check it before you order to confirm your street falls inside the boundary.

What areas near Newmarket does Ashario deliver to?

Out of the Aurora store, Ashario delivers to Aurora, Newmarket south of Green Lane, East Gwillimbury, Oak Ridges, Richmond Hill north of Elgin Mills, King City, Kettleby, and the Vandorf and Preston Lake areas. Newmarket addresses north of Green Lane fall outside the same-day zone. If you're unsure, the delivery service-area page shows the exact coverage.

How do you order cannabis delivery in Newmarket?

Ordering is a three-step process: browse the live menu for the Aurora store, place your order before the 8:00 PM cutoff, and have valid 19+ government-issued photo ID ready when the driver arrives. Payment and product selection happen online; the ID check happens in person at your door.

Start by browsing the live menu for the Aurora store so you're seeing real, in-stock inventory rather than a generic catalogue. Availability shifts daily as new drops land and popular cultivars sell through, so what's listed is what a driver can actually bring.

A few things our Newmarket customers ask about at the door:

• ID is mandatory, every time. Under Ontario's Cannabis Act rules, the driver must confirm you're 19 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. No ID, no handoff. This isn't optional.
• Orders can't be left unattended. The package goes hand-to-hand. If nobody 19+ can receive it, the driver can't leave it at the door, on a porch, or with a neighbour.
• The person who ordered should be the one receiving. Have your ID out to keep the handoff quick.

Prefer to skip delivery entirely? The Aurora store is open 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, earlier and later than the delivery window, so pickup is an option if you're already out on Yonge Street.

What can you get delivered in Newmarket?

Ashario's Newmarket delivery covers the full range of legal recreational categories: dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges and disposables, edibles, beverages, concentrates, and accessories. Every product sold is regulated under the federal Cannabis Act. Potency varies by product and lot, always verify the numbers on the in-store label or COA.

If you're newer to cannabis, our budtenders usually point Newmarket customers toward lower-intensity formats to start. Health Canada guidance for edibles suggests beginning with 2.5 mg of THC or less and waiting to feel the effect before considering more, since ingested cannabis takes longer to onset than inhaled formats. That "start low, go slow" approach is the single most common piece of advice we give at the door.

A quick note on formats and delivery timing: nothing about the delivery process changes based on what you order. A vape, a bag of flower, and a box of gummies all move through the same 1-to-2-hour window and the same $9.77 flat fee. For deeper reads on specific products and how they work, our cannabis blog covers onset times, dosing, and format guides in detail.

How does delivery product quality compare to buying in-store?

It's identical. The product a driver hands you comes from the same Aurora store shelves you'd browse in person. Every unit is legally tested and sealed. The only difference between delivery and pickup is who does the driving.

Newmarket delivery vs. other York Region areas

Ashario runs three delivery hubs across the region, and the one serving you depends on your address. Newmarket is covered by the Aurora store; North York, Thornhill, Richmond Hill's south end, and west Markham are served from our Centerpoint Mall location; and Downsview and west North York run out of Finch & Dufferin. Same 10 AM to 10 PM hours and $9.77 flat fee apply across all zones.

For Newmarket residents, this hub structure is a practical advantage. You're being served by the closest store, not routed through downtown. If you split your time between cities, the full map of who covers what lives on the Ashario delivery hub, which lists every zone in one place.

One boundary worth repeating: the same-day zone stops at Green Lane. Newmarket addresses north of Green Lane, plus cities like Barrie and Mississauga, aren't inside the delivery area. Those remain pickup or in-store only. We'd rather tell you that upfront than have an order fail at checkout.

The bottom line on 24 hour delivery in Newmarket

True 24 hour weed delivery in Newmarket doesn't exist within the legal system, and that's by regulation, not a gap Ashario is choosing to leave open. What you can rely on is a compliant, close-to-home service: 10 AM to 10 PM daily, an 8 PM cutoff for same-day, most orders in 1 to 2 hours, and a flat $9.77 fee. Plan around the cutoff and you'll rarely be waiting long.

Frequently asked questions about Newmarket weed delivery

What's the latest I can order weed delivery in Newmarket?

The same-day cutoff is 8:00 PM. Any order placed and confirmed before 8 PM is eligible to arrive the same evening, since deliveries run until 10:00 PM. Orders placed after 8 PM roll over to the next day and go out during the 10 AM to 10 PM window. That two-hour gap between the cutoff and closing lets drivers finish the route and verify ID at every stop.

Is unlicensed 24 hour cannabis delivery in Newmarket legal?

No. Only AGCO-licensed retailers can legally sell and deliver cannabis in Ontario, and licensed delivery cannot run 24 hours. Any service advertising round-the-clock cannabis delivery is operating outside the legal framework. Buying from unlicensed sources means no age verification, no guarantee of tested product, and legal exposure for you. Sticking with a licensed retailer like Ashario keeps everything above board and every product regulated under the Cannabis Act.

Do I have to be home for the delivery?

Yes. Ontario rules require the package to be handed directly to a person 19 or older, who must show valid government-issued photo ID. Drivers cannot leave cannabis unattended, not on a porch, in a mailbox, or with a neighbour. If no eligible adult is available to receive it in person, the driver can't complete the handoff, so make sure someone will be there.

Does Ashario deliver to all of Newmarket?

Ashario delivers same-day to Newmarket south of Green Lane. Addresses north of Green Lane fall outside the current same-day zone. Coverage is fulfilled from the Aurora store, which also reaches Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Oak Ridges, Richmond Hill north of Elgin Mills, King City, and Kettleby. Check the Aurora and Newmarket delivery page to confirm your specific street before ordering.

How much does delivery to Newmarket cost?

Delivery is a flat $9.77 fee with no minimum order, as of 2026. That means a single item ships for the same delivery cost as a larger basket. Product prices vary and change frequently, so check the live menu for current pricing on flower, edibles, vapes, and other categories. The delivery fee itself stays flat regardless of order size.

Can I pick up instead of waiting for delivery?

Absolutely. The Ashario Cannabis - Aurora store at 15114 Yonge St is open 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day: a wider window than the 10 AM to 10 PM delivery hours. If you'd rather browse in person or you're already nearby on Yonge Street, pickup is often the faster route, especially outside delivery hours. Bring valid 19+ ID for either option.
