Is there a dispensary near me open right now in Aurora?

Yes. Ashario Cannabis Aurora is open right now if it's between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM local time. The store sits on Yonge Street near Wellington, with free parking on-site and easy access from Highway 404 (Wellington exit). Call +1-905-503-6770 to confirm stock before driving over.

Aurora doesn't have a huge number of legal dispensaries, and many of the smaller shops in town close by 9 or 10 PM. We deliberately kept our hours stretched to 11 PM because our budtenders kept hearing the same thing from customers: "I got off work at 9, drove to three places, and you were the only one still open." If you're searching for an aurora cannabis open now option after dinner, we're it.

How does same-day pickup work in Aurora?

Same-day pickup at Ashario Aurora works in three steps: order online at our cannabis product categories, wait for the "ready for pickup" SMS or email (usually 15-30 minutes), then come in with your ID. There's no extra fee for pickup, and orders are held for 48 hours.

Here's the workflow our budtenders use behind the scenes:

1. Browse and order: Filter by category | flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, beverages, or accessories. Add to cart and select "Ashario Aurora" as your pickup location.
2. Age verification: You'll confirm you're 19+ at checkout. This is an AGCO requirement, not optional.
3. Order build: Our team pulls your items from the locked back room (Ontario regulations prohibit self-serve cannabis displays).
4. Ready notification: Most orders are ready in 15-30 minutes. Larger orders or first-thing-in-the-morning orders may take slightly longer.
5. Pickup: Show your ID at the counter. Done.

This same day pickup aurora service is especially popular with customers who want to lock in limited-drop products: small-batch flower from Licensed Producers like Carmel, Pure Sunfarms, and Broken Coast tends to sell out within 24-48 hours of arriving on shelf.

How does Aurora compare to other Ashario locations?

Ashario operates four Ontario locations, all with identical 7 AM to 11 PM hours. Aurora is the northernmost store and tends to have a slightly different inventory mix than our urban locations: more value-tier ounces, more outdoor-cultivated flower, and a strong selection of higher-CBD options. Learn more about Ashario Cannabis and our store network.

Quick comparison of all four locations:

• Aurora: 15114 Yonge St | best for York Region North customers, strong value-tier selection
• Thornton: 239 Barrie St | closest to Highway 400/Innisfil/Bradford
• Centerpoint Mall (North York): 6464 Yonge St #187 | mall-based, indoor convenience
• Finch & Dufferin (North York): 1111A Finch Ave W Unit 1 | TTC-accessible, broadest premium inventory

If you're in Aurora and need something we don't have in stock, our team can check the other three locations and tell you which one has it. We do this dozens of times a week.

Aurora cannabis regulations you should know

Aurora follows Ontario provincial cannabis rules under the AGCO and federal rules under the Cannabis Act. The legal age is 19+, the public possession limit is 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent), and edibles are capped at 10mg THC per package. For the official rules, see AGCO cannabis regulations and Health Canada's cannabis page.

A few Aurora-specific notes our budtenders get asked about constantly:

• Consumption: You can't consume cannabis in public places in Aurora, including parks and trails. Private residences only (and your landlord may have additional rules).
• Driving: Zero-tolerance for drivers under 22 or with a G1/G2 licence. Even small amounts can mean a 3-day licence suspension.
• ID: Bring physical, government-issued photo ID. We can't accept photos of IDs or expired documents. This is an AGCO requirement.
• Storage: Cannabis must be in its original sealed packaging when transported in a vehicle.

According to Statistics Canada's Cannabis Stats Hub, Ontario accounts for roughly 38% of national legal cannabis sales, and York Region (which includes Aurora) is one of the fastest-growing legal retail markets in the province.

Tips from our Aurora budtenders

After thousands of customer conversations at the Aurora store, here's the advice our team gives most often. First: shop earlier in the week if you want the widest selection. New product drops hit shelves Tuesday-Thursday, and Friday/Saturday are our busiest days when shelves thin out fastest.

Second: if you're new to cannabis, start with 2.5mg THC edibles (split a 10mg gummy into quarters) and wait 90 minutes before considering more. Edibles hit slower and harder than people expect. Third: ask about terpenes, not just THC percentage. A 22% THC strain with myrcene-dominant terpenes will feel completely different from a 22% THC strain heavy in limonene or pinene. THC isn't everything.

And finally: yes, we'll happily call our other Ashario stores to find a product for you. We do it daily.

Why choose Ashario Aurora over other options?

Ashario Aurora's value proposition comes down to four things: extended 7 AM to 11 PM hours, fast 15-30 minute same-day pickup, a 600+ SKU selection, and budtenders who actually know the products. We're not the only legal option in Aurora, but we're the one customers keep coming back to: repeat-purchase rates at the Aurora store sit above 70% based on our internal loyalty data through Q1 2026.
