How Fast Is Weed Delivery in Downsview?

Most Downsview orders from Ashario Cannabis arrive within 1 to 2 hours, dispatched from our Finch & Dufferin store at 1111A Finch Ave W. Delivery runs 10 AM to 10 PM daily, the flat fee is $9.77 with no minimum, and the same-day cutoff is 8:00 PM. That's the short answer: the rest of this post breaks down what actually affects your window.

We field this exact question at the counter constantly: "If I order now, when will it show up?" The honest reply depends on a few moving parts, how far into Downsview you are, what time of day you hit "submit," and whether your ID checks out at the door. Below we lay out the real numbers, not the marketing version. For a full map of who we reach, see our same-day cannabis delivery in Downsview page.

How fast is weed delivery in Downsview, really?

Ashario delivers to Downsview in most cases within 1 to 2 hours of order confirmation, from 10 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Orders are fulfilled by Ashario Cannabis - Finch & Dufferin (1111A Finch Ave W Unit 1, North York, ON M3J 2P7), which sits inside the Downsview zone itself, so travel distance is short.

The 1-to-2-hour figure isn't a promise carved in stone; it's the typical range we see. A mid-afternoon Tuesday order near Sheppard and Keele often lands closer to the one-hour end. A Friday-night order at 7:45 PM, right before the cutoff, with several drivers already out, can drift toward the two-hour mark. Distance inside the zone matters too. Bathurst Manor and Clanton Park are quick hops, while the northern edges near York Mills add a few minutes.

The Downsview fulfilment area covers Downsview, Bathurst Manor, Clanton Park, Wilson Heights, Willowdale West, York Mills, and north Scarborough neighbourhoods including L'Amoreaux, Tam O'Shanter-Sullivan, and Agincourt. If you live outside those pockets, you may be served by a different Ashario store. Check our delivery hub to confirm your zone.

What time is the same-day cutoff for Downsview delivery?

The same-day cutoff is 8:00 PM. Order by 8 PM and your delivery is scheduled for that same day, typically landing before the 10 PM close. Place an order after 8 PM and it rolls to the next day's 10 AM opening. This cutoff is firm because it gives drivers enough runway to complete every route before end of service.

Here's the practical takeaway our budtenders share with regulars: if you know you'll want cannabis for the evening, order by 7 PM rather than racing the 8 PM wire. That buffer protects you from the busiest window and keeps you comfortably inside the 1-to-2-hour range. Delivery hours themselves run 10 AM to 10 PM: the 8 PM cutoff exists so the final orders still clear before doors close.

Order timing at a glance

• Delivery window: 10 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week
• Same-day cutoff: 8:00 PM
• Typical arrival: 1 to 2 hours after confirmation
• Delivery fee: $9.77 flat, no minimum order
• Fulfilment store: Ashario Cannabis - Finch & Dufferin

What slows down or speeds up a Downsview delivery?

Three factors move your delivery window: time of day, your exact location within the zone, and the ID handoff at your door. Peak periods (Friday and Saturday evenings, plus the hour right before cutoff) run slower because more orders share the same drivers. Off-peak weekday mornings and early afternoons are usually fastest.

A few things we've learned from running routes across Downsview:

• Buzzer and unit numbers matter. Apartment and condo deliveries near Wilson Heights and Bathurst Manor go faster when the correct buzzer code is in the order notes. A driver stuck at a locked lobby door burns minutes.
• Have your ID ready. Every order is handed to you in person and verified against a valid 19+ government photo ID. Fumbling for ID adds time; having it out shaves it.
• Weather. Heavy snow on Downsview's arterials: Keele, Dufferin, Sheppard, can stretch timelines. We don't cancel for weather, but we'd rather be honest that a January storm isn't a 60-minute night.
• Order volume. New product drops and long weekends spike demand. When a popular Licensed Producer restocks a sought-after cultivar, orders cluster.

None of these push a standard order past the same-day window if you've ordered before cutoff. They simply nudge you within the 1-to-2-hour band. You can start an order any time from our live menu for the Finch & Dufferin store.

Why Downsview delivery is genuinely quick from Ashario

Downsview delivery is fast because the fulfilling store is inside Downsview. Ashario Cannabis - Finch & Dufferin isn't a warehouse across the city. It's a licensed retail store at 1111A Finch Ave W, open 7 AM to 11 PM daily, that dispatches drivers into its own surrounding neighbourhoods.

Short trips mean tighter, more predictable arrival times. When a store fulfils its immediate area, a driver isn't crossing three highways to reach you. That's the structural reason our Downsview timelines hold up. As a licensed retailer under the AGCO, every delivery follows Ontario's rules: legal product, age verification, and in-person handoff.

Potency varies by product and lot, always verify THC and CBD on the in-store label or COA rather than trusting a round number online.

Frequently asked questions about Downsview weed delivery

Can I get weed delivered in under an hour in Downsview?

Sometimes, yes, but we don't guarantee it. The typical Ashario window for Downsview is 1 to 2 hours. Orders placed during quieter weekday afternoons, close to the Finch & Dufferin store, occasionally arrive inside 60 minutes. During Friday and Saturday evening peaks, expect the two-hour end. We'd rather set an honest expectation than promise a number we can't consistently hit.

What happens if I order right at the 8 PM cutoff?

An order placed at 8:00 PM sharp is still processed for same-day delivery, but it's the tightest scenario. You're at the back of the evening queue with the least buffer before the 10 PM close. To be safe, we suggest ordering by 7 PM if you want cannabis that same night. Anything submitted after 8 PM shifts to the next day's 10 AM start.

Does Ashario deliver to Downsview apartments and condos?

Yes. We deliver to apartments and condos across Downsview, Bathurst Manor, and Wilson Heights. Because every order is handed to you in person, add your buzzer code and unit number in the order notes so the driver can reach your door without delay. Deliveries cannot be left unattended in a lobby or hallway: you'll meet the driver and show valid 19+ ID.

Is there a minimum order for delivery in Downsview?

No. Ashario charges a flat $9.77 delivery fee with no minimum order value, so you can order a single item without hitting a spending threshold. That flat fee applies whether you're ordering one pre-roll or a full basket. Prices on individual products change with inventory, so check the current in-store or online menu for the latest.

Which Ashario store handles my Downsview delivery?

Downsview deliveries are fulfilled by Ashario Cannabis - Finch & Dufferin at 1111A Finch Ave W Unit 1, North York, ON M3J 2P7. You can reach that store at +1-647-368-7722; it's open 7 AM to 11 PM daily. If you're on the edge of a neighbouring area, a different Ashario store may serve you. Our delivery hub confirms which store covers your address.

What do I need to show at the door?

A valid government-issued photo ID proving you're 19 or older. Per Health Canada and Ontario's Cannabis Act, the driver verifies age in person before completing the handoff. There are no exceptions, if ID can't be shown or the person receiving the order appears underage or intoxicated, the driver is required to refuse the delivery.

Do you deliver to Downsview on weekends and holidays?

Yes. Same-day delivery runs seven days a week, including statutory holidays, from 10 AM to 10 PM with the same 8 PM cutoff. Weekend evenings are our busiest stretch, so order earlier if you're planning ahead. As of 2026, our full delivery schedule and zone list stay current on our blog and delivery pages.
