Looking to skip the line and reserve your order ahead of time? This guide walks through the Ashario Steeles pickup process step by step, including the exact location closest to Steeles Avenue, store hours, what ID to bring, and how reservations work under Ontario's Cannabis Act. The closest Ashario location to the Steeles corridor is our Finch & Dufferin store at 1111A Finch Ave W, just south of Steeles in North York. We've helped thousands of North York shoppers reserve flower, vapes, edibles, and pre-rolls online and pick them up in under five minutes. Here's exactly how to do it.

What Is Ashario Steeles Pickup and How Does It Work?

Ashario Steeles pickup is an online reservation service where you browse our cannabis product categories, reserve items at the nearest Ashario location to Steeles Avenue (our Finch & Dufferin store, 1111A Finch Ave W, North York), then pay and collect in person. Reservations are typically ready in 15-30 minutes and held for 24 hours.

Because of how Ontario's AGCO retail framework works, all cannabis purchases must be completed in person with valid 19+ ID. You can't fully pay online and have a courier drop it off from the store unless you use a licensed delivery option, but reservation-and-pickup is fast, free, and guarantees the product you want is set aside for you.

Our budtenders pull your order off the shelf within minutes of receiving it. When you arrive, show ID, pay (cash, debit, or credit), and you're out the door. Customers tell us pickup typically takes 3-5 minutes from walking in to walking out.

Step 2: Browse the Menu

Filter by category: flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, beverages, or accessories. You can also filter by THC percentage (we carry products from under 1% THC up to 30%+), CBD content, strain type (indica, sativa, hybrid), and Licensed Producer. Popular LPs stocked at the Finch location include Pure Sunfarms, Redecan, Good Supply, Spinach, Carmel, and Broken Coast.

Step 3: Reserve and Confirm

Add items to cart, enter contact details, and submit. You'll receive an SMS or email confirming your order is being prepared. Most reservations are ready within 15-30 minutes during regular hours.

Step 4: Pick Up In-Store

Bring government-issued photo ID showing you're 19 or older (driver's licence, passport, Ontario Photo Card, or PR card). Tell the budtender your name, pay at the counter, and you're done. Reservations are held for 24 hours before being returned to the floor.

Quiet times for fastest pickup are weekdays between 10 AM and 3 PM. Peak hours are Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Holiday weekends (Canada Day, Labour Day, Christmas Eve) can see double the usual traffic, so we recommend reserving 1-2 hours ahead.

All four Ashario locations. Finch & Dufferin, Centerpoint Mall, Aurora, and Thornton. Keep the same 7 AM to 11 PM schedule. You can view our full store location and hours page for directions and contact details.

What ID and Payment Do You Need at Pickup?

For Ashario Steeles pickup you need valid government-issued photo ID proving you're 19+ (Ontario's legal cannabis age) and a payment method. Accepted ID includes Ontario driver's licence, Canadian passport, Ontario Photo Card, PR card, or provincial health card with photo. Accepted payment: cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Apple/Google Pay. We don't accept cheques or cryptocurrency.

Per Health Canada and AGCO rules, the person whose name is on the reservation must be present with ID. You can't send a friend or family member to pick up cannabis on your behalf. This is strict, and our budtenders verify every ID without exception. Anyone visibly under 25 will always be asked, so have your ID ready.

Public possession limits in Ontario remain 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent) as of 2026. Our point-of-sale system automatically flags carts that exceed this limit so you won't accidentally overbuy.

What Can You Reserve at Ashario Steeles?

The Finch & Dufferin store stocks approximately 600-800 SKUs at any time across every legal cannabis category sold in Ontario. You can reserve dried flower (1g, 3.5g, 7g, 14g, and 28g formats), pre-rolls (singles, 3-packs, 10-packs, infused), 510 vape cartridges, disposable vapes, edibles (gummies, chocolates, beverages: capped at 10 mg THC per package by federal law), concentrates (hash, rosin, shatter, diamonds), capsules, tinctures, topicals, and accessories.

Recent customer favourites at this location include high-terpene flower from Broken Coast and Carmel, live resin carts from General Admission and Good Supply, and infused pre-rolls from Spinach FEELZ. For lower-potency options, we stock 2:1 and 1:1 CBD:THC products from Solei and Cove. Browse the full collection to see what's available today.

Pickup vs Delivery: Which Should You Choose?

For the Steeles corridor in North York, pickup is generally faster than delivery. Pickup orders are typically ready in 15-30 minutes, while same-day delivery in the GTA usually runs 1-3 hours depending on route and time of day. Pickup is also free with no minimum, whereas third-party cannabis delivery often carries a $5-10 fee and a minimum order.

That said, if you're outside walking or driving distance, delivery makes sense. Customers in apartments along Steeles East often prefer delivery for the convenience. Read more on our Ashario Cannabis blog for delivery options across the GTA. For questions specific to your order, our team is reachable through our contact page or by phone at +1-647-368-7722.

Tips From Our Budtenders for a Smooth Pickup

After running thousands of reservations through the Finch & Dufferin store, here's what our team recommends:

• Reserve during weekday mornings. Orders placed between 9 AM and noon Monday-Thursday are typically ready in under 15 minutes.
• Double-check your strain type. If you're unsure whether you want indica, sativa, or hybrid, call the store before reserving. Our budtenders can match a product to the effect profile you're looking for.
• Watch THC percentages. Newer consumers should stick to flower under 18% THC and edibles at 2.5-5 mg per serving rather than maxing out at the 10 mg legal cap.
• Bring exact ID. Expired or damaged ID will be refused per AGCO rules: even by one day.
• Check terpenes, not just THC. Two flowers at 22% THC can feel completely different depending on terpene profile (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, etc.).
