What Is Ashario Cannabis? Brand, Locations & What to Expect In-Store

Ashario Cannabis is an Ontario-based licensed cannabis retailer operating four corporately-owned locations across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. As of 2026, Ashario serves customers in North York (Finch & Dufferin and Centerpoint Mall), Aurora, and Thornton: all open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, 365 days a year. The brand carries dried flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, beverages, topicals, and accessories from Health Canada Licensed Producers, available for in-store shopping, online reservation, and express pickup.

If you're new to Ashario Cannabis, this guide answers the most common questions in a clear FAQ format: who Ashario is, where to find a store, what's stocked on the shelves, how the shopping experience works, and how Ashario differs from typical Ontario dispensaries. Updated May 2026.

What Is Ashario Cannabis? Brand Overview

Ashario Cannabis is a multi-location Ontario cannabis retailer authorized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to sell recreational cannabis to adults 19 and over. The brand was built around three principles: long operating hours (7 AM to 11 PM), curated product selection from established Licensed Producers, and a budtender-first experience focused on education rather than upselling.

Unlike single-location dispensaries, Ashario operates a coordinated four-store network: meaning inventory, staff training, and reservation systems are aligned across all sites. Customers shopping at the Finch & Dufferin store get the same brand experience as those visiting Aurora or Thornton. You can read more about the company's history and team on the About Ashario Cannabis page.

Is Ashario Cannabis a Licensed Producer (LP) or a Retailer?

Ashario is a retailer, not a Licensed Producer. Under Canada's Cannabis Act, Licensed Producers (such as Aurora, Tilray, Canopy Growth, OrganiGram, and others) cultivate and package cannabis, while authorized retailers like Ashario sell those products to consumers. Ashario sources from dozens of LPs, giving shoppers access to a wide range of brands, formats, and price tiers in one place.

What Products Does Ashario Cannabis Carry?

Ashario Cannabis stocks the full range of legal cannabis formats authorized for retail sale in Ontario. Inventory is refreshed weekly with new drops from Licensed Producers, and our budtenders track which strains and brands are trending across each store. Browse current product categories on the Ashario cannabis collections page.

Dried Flower & Pre-Rolls

Dried flower remains the most popular category at Ashario, ranging from value pricing under $30 per 3.5g to craft and premium "exotic" tier flower from cultivators like 1337 Elite, Pistol & Paris, and BLKMKT. Pre-rolls include single 0.5g and 1g cones, infused pre-rolls (kief, distillate, or hash-coated), and value multi-packs. Our budtenders frequently recommend matching terpene profile to desired effect: caryophyllene-heavy strains for evening, limonene-forward genetics for daytime.

Vapes & 510 Cartridges

Vape products include 510-thread cartridges (typically 0.95g or 1.2g), all-in-one disposables, and live resin / live rosin distillates. THC potency in the vape category typically ranges from 78% to 92% total cannabinoids depending on the LP and extraction method.

Edibles, Beverages, Concentrates & Topicals

Edibles sold in Ontario are capped at 10 mg THC per package under federal regulation. Ashario carries gummies, chocolates, mints, baked goods, and cannabis-infused beverages. Concentrates include hash, rosin, resin, shatter, and diamonds. Topicals (creams, balms, oils) and accessories (grinders, papers, batteries, storage) round out the catalogue.

What to Expect at an Ashario Cannabis Store

Every Ashario location follows the same in-store flow: ID check at the door (19+ required, no exceptions), open browsing area with product displays, budtender-assisted ordering at the counter, and payment by debit, cash, or credit. Stores are bright, clean, and laid out by category so first-time visitors can navigate without feeling overwhelmed.

Budtender Service

Ashario budtenders are trained on terpene profiles, cannabinoid ratios, format differences, and LP genetics, not on commission-driven upselling. If you're new to cannabis or returning after years away, tell the budtender your experience level and desired effect (relaxed, social, focused, sleepy) and they'll narrow options to two or three suitable products.

Reservation & Express Pickup

You can browse and reserve products online for any of the four stores, then pick up in person, usually within 30 minutes. Reservations don't require pre-payment; you confirm and pay at the counter. This is the fastest way to shop during peak hours (5 PM to 9 PM weekdays, Saturday afternoons). Contact details for each store are available on the Ashario contact page.

How Is Ashario Different from Other Ontario Dispensaries?

Three things set Ashario Cannabis apart in the Ontario retail landscape: extended hours, multi-store inventory coordination, and product curation. While many Ontario cannabis stores close at 9 or 10 PM, all four Ashario locations stay open until 11 PM daily, including weekends and statutory holidays. The 7 AM opening also makes Ashario one of the earliest options for morning pickup before work.

Inventory coordination means if a popular drop sells out at Finch, the system shows you whether Centerpoint, Aurora, or Thornton still has stock. Curation matters because Ontario's legal market now includes hundreds of SKUs. Ashario's buying team selects products based on potency verification, terpene testing, freshness (pack dates within the last 90 days where possible), and customer demand patterns observed across the four stores.

All four Ashario Cannabis locations. Finch & Dufferin, Centerpoint Mall, Aurora, and Thornton: operate on identical hours: 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week, 365 days a year including statutory holidays. Yes. Under Ontario's Cannabis Licence Act, the legal minimum age to enter a cannabis retail store, purchase cannabis, or possess cannabis products is 19 years old. Yes. Ashario offers online reservation through the website where you can browse current inventory by store, reserve products, and pick them up in person, typically within 30 minutes during business hours. Ontario regulations require all retail cannabis purchases to be completed in-person with ID verification at the store counter, so reservation reserves the product but final purchase happens on-site.
